I accept that I participate in club activities entirely at my own risk. By signing below, I hereby indemnify and absolve Hikeobics Hiking Club, the Committee, and individual officiating Club members from any liability of any nature whatsoever and howsoever caused to me which may arise from injury, illness, damage, loss, mishap, accident or any other occurrence, resulting from my participation in any meeting, expedition, field trip, event, activity, including traveling to and from or service held under the auspices of the Club or sanctioned by the Club. In so doing, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks to which I might be exposed as a result of such participation and voluntarily accept all such risks.

Furthermore, by accepting this statement, I grant Hikeobics Hiking Club the right to take photographs of me during club activities and events. I understand that these photographs may be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the promotion of the Club and its activities, both online and offline. I waive any rights or claims to compensation for the use of these photographs. I understand that if I do not wish to be photographed, it is my responsibility to inform the Club organizers in advance of each activity.
